Fossil elephant scientific name Elephas hysudrindicus it was about 200-250 thousand years old and weighs about 6 to 8 tons. The fossil was discovered by a team of vertebrates Geological Museum through eksvakasi activities (excavation) in 2009 in the village of Sunggun, village Mendalem District of Kradenan, Blora regency, Central Java.
The assessed spectacular fossil discoveries have since started eksvakasi fossils in the 1850s, first discovered fossils of a relatively intact individuals about 90 percent. Officers completed the reconstruction of the fossil in 2013, and a replica on display at the Geology Museum in Bandung and Blora, Central Java. Meanwhile, the original fossils of ancient elephant was a collection of the Geological Museum of Bandung.
